Aurora no Laboratório (Aurora in the Laboratory)

In the cutting-edge materials laboratory in São Paulo, scientists cultivated a new type of material only one atom thick on a pure white silicon substrate. When the electron current passes through, it does not emit dazzling light, but excites a precise, sharp, yet extremely faint turquoise light band on the pure white substrate, like a private aurora show in the microscopic world.
