Olho de Sereia (Mermaid’s Eye)

In the deepest cave of the Fernando de Noronha archipelago, the legendary Brazilian mermaid lives. Her eyes are not the azure blue of the ocean, but a fantastic cat-eye pink—when the light refracts from the sea surface into the water, her pupils will transform into a dreamy pink-gold light band, like the moon shadow sinking in the pearl-pink seabed.
